This privacy notice has been prepared under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform you about how the personal data you share with us through the contact form on our website is processed.

- Contact: your email address
- Request: the subject and message you send through the form
- Transaction security: a pseudonymised (masked) value derived from your IP address with a secret key to prevent misuse of the form; your IP address itself is not stored

- Receiving, evaluating and responding to your request
- Contacting you about your product, service and quotation requests
- Preventing misuse of the contact form and unsolicited submissions
Method of Collection and Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form on our website. It is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2)(c) of the KVKK, being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, and Article 5(2)(f), being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred, solely for the purposes above, to the service providers from whom we obtain website hosting and email services, and to authorised public institutions where required by law. Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention Period
Contact form records are kept for a maximum of 2 years and are automatically deleted at the end of this period. Form messages are also forwarded as a notification to our corporate mailbox; these emails are managed under our company's email retention practice. Masked IP values are kept for a maximum of 48 hours.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information if your personal data has been processed,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
- request correction if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to third parties to whom your data has been transferred,
- object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

You can send your requests to bilgi@meltemltd.com or in writing to our address above, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Applications are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
